01Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use Snippt, whatever device, assistive technology or settings they use. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across snippt.ai.
02What is in place
On the menu, the footer and the pages redesigned since October 2026:
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Animations stop or simplify when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Main buttons are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- Sections use real headings and labels, so screen readers can move through them.
- Layouts work on screens as narrow as 320 pixels without scrolling sideways.
03What isn’t there yet
- Not every older tool page has been reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA yet. We are working through them as each page is redesigned.
- Some small grey labels on older pages fall below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio WCAG asks for small text. We are raising them as pages are updated.
- AI-generated video and audio don’t come with captions or transcripts, except the transcript Podcast Maker shows with each episode.
- Some parts come from other services: the Cloudflare check on sign-up forms, embedded video players and the language menu. We can’t fully control how accessible they are.
04How we check
We test with automated checks and by hand with a keyboard on desktop and phone screen sizes. We haven’t had an independent audit yet.
05Getting help
If something on Snippt is hard or impossible to use, email support@snippt.ai with Accessibility in the subject line. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what happened. We will reply, and if we can’t fix it quickly, we’ll help you get what you need another way.
