01What Snippt makes
Snippt turns your prompts, product photos and the characters you create into images, video, voice, music and written copy. It does this with AI models from third-party providers, which are listed in our Privacy Policy.
Everything that comes out of Snippt is AI-generated, even when it looks or sounds real.
02What it won’t make
- No sexual content. Not behind a setting, not on any plan.
- Nothing that involves minors in a sexual or harmful way, and no photos or voices of minors in tools that work with faces or voices.
- No real person without their permission. Tools that take a photo, video or voice of a person ask you to confirm consent before every generation.
- No impersonation. Don’t use Snippt to pass off AI content as real footage of a real person or a real event, or to mislead people about who is speaking.
We have removed the tools built to swap faces or clone voices. Character tools work with characters you design or with your own likeness. The full list of what isn’t allowed is in our Acceptable Use Policy.
03How we enforce it
- Prompts are screened before any model runs.
- Photos uploaded to tools that work with faces are checked before they are processed.
- Results are checked again. Anything flagged is discarded, and you are not charged for it.
- There is no setting that switches these checks off, on any plan.
- Repeated blocked requests pause generation on an account for 24 hours. Serious or repeated misuse ends the account and, where the law requires it, is reported to the authorities.
- Blocked requests are logged as evidence. We keep a short excerpt of a blocked prompt, never the image.
04How results are labelled
On Snippt, every generated image, video and audio result carries this label: AI-generated · made with Snippt
Not yet built Files you download don’t yet carry a visible watermark or machine-readable provenance data, such as C2PA content credentials. We are working on adding machine-readable labels to downloads. Until then, labelling what you publish is up to you, as the next section explains.
05When you publish what you make
- Say it’s AI where it matters. TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook ask you to label realistic AI content, and in the EU the AI Act requires deepfakes to be disclosed.
- Keep claims true. An AI image or video of your product must still show what you sell. Don’t show features, results or sizes the product doesn’t have.
- No fake customers. Don’t present an AI presenter as a real customer or use AI to write reviews. In the US, the FTC’s rule on fake reviews bans both.
- Respect other people’s rights. Don’t use brands, artwork, music or characters you don’t have the rights to.
What you may do with the results you make is set out in our Terms of Service.
06Report misuse
If you see content made with Snippt that breaks these rules, or that shows you without your permission, tell us through the report form or at support@snippt.ai. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.
07Changes to this policy
We update this page when our tools or the rules change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
