Your designed voices
Every voice you keep lands here. Reusable across every project, yours for commercial work.
Your generations
Your scripts
- An age range and gender ("woman in her fifties")
- An accent or region ("light Dublin accent")
- Pace and energy ("slow, deliberate, low-key")
- What it's for ("narrating a true-crime podcast")
- Naming a real person or "sounds like" anyone
- Five adjectives that contradict each other
- Describing the script instead of the voice
- One-word prompts ("female", "deep")
Three steps. No microphone required.
No microphone, no editing, no file juggling. The tool does the production; you make the calls.
Describe the voice
Age, gender, accent, pace, mood, purpose. A sentence or two is enough.
Hear three takes, keep one
Three distinct voices read the same line. Name the one you like and it's saved to your library.
Generate speech from any text
Short lines come back in seconds. Whole chapters are split, generated and combined into one file.
Voice Design vs Text to Speech
Two tools, different jobs. Here's when to use each.
Common questions.
What is AI voice design?
You describe the voice you want in plain words - age, gender, accent, tone, pace, mood - and the model generates three brand-new synthetic voices that match. You keep the one you like and use it to generate speech from any text.
Do I need to upload a recording?
No. Voice Design works from text only. There is no upload or record step anywhere in the tool, and it cannot reproduce a specific person's voice. Descriptions that name or imitate a real person are refused.
How do I write a good description?
Name the qualities: an age range, a gender, an accent or region, the pace, the energy, and what the voice is for. "Warm woman in her forties, soft Irish accent, unhurried, reading a bedtime story" works far better than "nice female voice".
How many credits does it cost?
One design round (three previews) costs 5 credits. Keeping a voice in your library costs 1 credit. Generating speech costs 4 credits per 500 characters. The exact cost shows on the button before you commit.
Can I use a designed voice commercially?
Yes. Every voice you design is synthetic and yours to use in personal and commercial projects. Audio carries an AI-generated label; disclose it where you publish, as several jurisdictions require.
Can I generate a whole audiobook chapter?
Yes. Paste or upload up to 200,000 characters. The text is split at sentence breaks, generated in your designed voice, and combined into one downloadable file.
