Works well

Good photos and prompts

  • Sharp and well lit, at least 1024px on the short side
  • One clear subject with room around it for the camera
  • Products: "slow 360 rotation, gentle push in"
  • Portraits: "subtle smile, eyes blink, hair moves slightly"
  • Scenes: "clouds drift, water ripples, leaves sway"
Avoid

What tends to break

  • Screenshots, heavy compression or tiny images
  • Text and logos in the frame: they warp
  • Complex body movement, like running or dancing
  • Asking for a new scene: this tool animates what is in the frame
Kling 3.0 Pro Recommended
Our default. Cinematic motion, good with faces, start and end frames, optional audio.
Products, portraits, landscapes

A product in a new scene, one character across shots
Veo 3.1 Talking
Google's model. Strong lip sync for people speaking, plus start and end frames.
People talking, UGC-style clips
Wan 2.6 Flash Fast
About 90 seconds at 720p with audio. Test a prompt here, then switch to a Pro model for the final cut.
Drafts and tight budgets

· Questions

Common questions.

What images can I use for image to video?

JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10MB. Anything from 1024px on the short side works well. The AI animates what is already in the frame, so a sharp, well-lit photo with one clear subject gives the best result.

How long does image to video take to generate?

Between about 1 and 6 minutes depending on the model and clip length. Fast models like Wan 2.6 Flash finish in around 90 seconds; Kling 3.0 Pro and Veo 3.1 take longer for higher quality. Jobs run in the background, so you can queue several and keep working.

How many credits does a video cost?

It depends on the model and duration. The exact cost shows on the Generate button before you confirm. Credits are only charged when a video completes; cancelled or failed generations are free.

How long can the video be, and what resolution?

Most models produce 5 to 15 second clips at 720p or 1080p. Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 go up to 30 seconds, and MiniMax H3 renders at 2K. Longer clips cost proportionally more credits.

Can I use this on any photo?

Only with the permission of the person in it. Snippt does not create sexual content or content involving minors, and every prompt and upload is screened automatically before anything is generated.

Can I animate between two images?

Yes. Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and Seedance support start and end frames: upload both and the AI creates a smooth transition between them. This works well for morphs, reveals and product turnarounds.

Can I use several images in one video?

Yes. Pick Seedance 2.0 or Seedance 2.5 and switch to Multi-reference. Add up to 9 images (30 on Seedance 2.5), plus short video and audio clips, and each one gets a tag like @Image1 or @Audio1. Mention the tags in your prompt to say what each one is for, for example: @Image1 holds @Image2 and walks through the room in @Image3.
